Why You Must Refresh

Not that much into Barbies, but you get my point.

The most famous brands in the world aren’t carved in stone. Even though they’re names you’ve lived with forever, they grow, morph and change with the years.

They adapt with the times. They learn to appeal to their new consumers and audiences.

Here are some brands that have been around for more than 50 years (and the year each was founded). Think about all the changes they’ve been through:

  • Dunkin Donuts (1950) Now just Dunkin!

  • Holiday Inn (1952)

  • McDonald’s (1955)

  • Trader Joes (1958)

  • Barbie (1959)

  • Walmart (1962)

  • Nike (1964)

  • Southwest Airlines (1967)

  • Intel (1968)

  • Starbucks (1971)

Some would argue that you are a brand, too. Guess what. It’s time for your refresh.
